Grow in your faith through a deep look at scripture on Catalina Island! All students are welcome, whether you just want to explore Christianity or have been following Jesus for a long time. We will spend our time diving into the bible through an immersive communal method. We will also have some time to explore the island, play, and relax!

Wetsuits provided for kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkeling, and swimming (all included!).

CARPOOL AND BOAT DETAILS

LEAVING USD:

We will leave USD in student carpools by 1:00pm Friday 4/5 so that we can get through LA traffic and arrive at the San Pedro Catalina Express dock (95 Berth, San Pedro, CA 90731) by 4:00pm.

**Your car will need to stop to pick up dinner on the way, as we will arrive on the island after meal hours the first night. Please plan accordingly if you have a class or schedule conflict, as we can’t accommodate late cars. Once we set sail, we are gone! We want to help you get there, so let us know if you need help drafting an email to a professor about attending another section of class or navigating other schedule conflicts. Double check your schedule before registering.

ARRIVING BACK AT USD:

We will arrive back at the Long Beach dock by 2:30pm on Sunday 4/7 and then drive back to San Diego. We should be back on campus around 5:00pm Sunday (pending traffic).

Once registration closes, we will arrange rides together up to the boat dock using student vehicles. If you are driving, we will ask your passengers to help reimburse you for gas!
